Kenneth Allen Hooley

December 8, 1943 to November 25, 2013 -

Kenneth Allen HooleyKen was born in Hot Springs Montana in 1943 to John and Edna Hooley. He has two brothers, Jack and Eldon, and two sisters Mary and Kathy, his twin. His family moved to Washington where he graduated from Lind High School in 1962.

Ken enlisted in the Navy in 1963 and served as a machinists mate during the Vietnam War. He worked the oil fields of Bakersfield and finally settled in Oregon where he worked as a production manager for Blount, Beaverton Packaging and Graphic Sciences. It is also where he met the love of his life, Dawn. He loved anything outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife Dawn; daughters Tere, Jana, Elaine and Becky; sons Paul, David and Brian; granddaughters Chelisa, Miranda, Kendra, Yessenia, Maerin, Sydney, Penny, Trisha, Ava, and Jade; grandsons Michael, Tyler, Caleb, James, Kechai, Myles, and Calen; sisters Mary and Kathy; brother Jack and many more nephews, nieces, cousins, and many many more friends.

Ken passed at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a big-hearted man with a big laugh that made you feel warm inside. He was a wonderful husband, father and ultimately the best of friends to all of us.
