McKiznie, Dade, Janson and Baisch


Francelia D. McKinzie

Former Yamhill resident Francelia Diane (VanLoo) McKenzie, of Sherwood, died Aug. 26, 2013, of natural causes. She was 60.

She was born March 24, 1953, in Los Angeles.

She volunteered at the Sherwood Senior Center.

Survivors include: son Chad Cook, of Sherwood; daughter Renee Gregory, of Lafayette; and seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Miller, and an infant son, Bryson Cook.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sherwood.

Mary Dade

Mary Dade died Oct. 12, 2013. She was 95.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Newberg Friends Church.

Angelea Janson

Newberg native Angelea Janson died Oct. 13, 2013, of cancer. She was 51.

She was born March 11, 1962, to Ralph and JoJean Burkett in Newberg.

On Sept. 7, 1996, she married Keith Janson.

After graduating in 1995 from Marylhurst College with a bachelor’s degree in music, she worked as a Kindermusik teacher.

She volunteered for a number of organizations. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and traveling.

Survivors include: husband Keith, of Portland; father Ralph, of Lafayette; son Kurt, of Portland; and sisters Yvette Burkett, of Lafayette, and Renae Leslie, of Newberg.

Her mother preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 22 at Montevilla United Methodist Church in Portland.

Edward Baisch

Newberg resident Edward Baisch died Oct. 7, 2013. He was 80.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Fernwood Grange in Newberg.
