Murray A. Crowe

February 23, 1966 - September 8, 2013


SFC Murray A. Crowe, 47, of Terrebonne passed away Sept. 8, 2013 in Prineville, Ore. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Prineville Armory. Pastor Steve Mickel will officiate. The Oregon National Guard is saddened at the tragic passing of SFC Murray A. Crowe.

He was born Feb. 23, 1966 to Dennis and Patricia Crowe. He graduated from Newport High School 1984 and went into the United States Army immediately following graduation. He later earned an Associates of Arts from Thomas Edison State College in 2006.

He had a life-long love of flying and spent much of his free time flying his plane. He also loved to go sailing with his family. He was a talented mechanic who truly enjoyed working on anything mechanical.

He was always eager to help his friends with any project they happened to have. He made friends that were life-long and was loved by all who knew him.

Above all else, he was a dedicated family man who loved to spend time with his wife Carmen, his daughter Stefanie, and his son Steven. He is also survived by his mother Patricia, brother Dean, and sister Julie.
