The top-ranked Democrats (26-1 overall) earned their spot in the final by beating Beaverton 63-54 on Friday at the Chiles Center for their 22nd straight win.

Jefferson will be making its first title-game appearance since it won the Class 5A crown in 2014, and the Democrats will have a shot at their first big-school title since they won back in 2000.

Third-ranked Clackamas (24-4 overall), meanwhile, beat No. 2 West Linn 78-71 in its Friday semifinal for its 18th straight victory.

The Cavaliers will be making just the second title-game appearance in school history; Clackamas fell to Central Catholic 56-54 in the 1994 Class 4A championship.

Now, these two teams will square off in the 2017 Class 6A state championship, set for 3:15 p.m. Saturday at the Chiles Center.

To preview that matchup, we present a slideshow of the best images from each team's semifinal victories.
