Kids cooking?

It's never too early to start, right, and Portland Farmers Market will be partnering with the Art Institute of Portland for "Kids Cook at the Market" classes for young chefs in training. Kids meet local farms and gain firsthand knowledge preparing ingredients purchased fresh from the market. The classes kick off with a free preview class 8:30 a.m. May 18, and continue each Saturday (except July 6) through Aug. 24. Each class is $5 and located at the Portland State University location of Portland Farmers Market. For information, contact Anna Curtin at This email address is being protected from spambots.
