Sherwood Robin Hood Festival

It’s the 60th festival, one of the oldest in the state, and includes the 58th Annual International Archery Tournament between Sherwood and Nottingham, England. The festival begins with the annual knighting ceremony, and it includes live music and a production of “Little Mermaid Jr.” and performances by the Sherwood Renaissance Singers. A parade takes place at 10 a.m. July 20. A beer and wine garden and 100-booth vendor village are offered.

The Oregon Zoo puts on the 14th annual dine-and-dance fundraising party, toasting the zoo’s first 125 years. Monte Carlo-style games and magicians and party band Cool-Ade and food from more than 30 top restaurants are part of the fun.

‘Pretty Creatives’

The fifth annual Northwest Dance Project show features the two winners of the company’s International Choreographic Competition: Simone Orlando and Yin Yue, whose work was created in just 18 hours working with 29 professional dancers selected for NWDP’s eighth innovative Launch project.

‘Springsteen & I’

The documentary film about the iconic musician Bruce Springsteen and his fans hits the big screen, put on by NCM Fathom Events and Arts Alliance Media. It incorporates video submissions from more than 2,000 fans from across the world and includes Springsteen performing some of his great hits.

Oregon Brewers Festival

Beer lovers unite for the 26th annual event, with 82 craft breweries offering more than 30 styles of handcrafted brews. An extra day has been added to the festival to accommodate more people. Live music and homebrewing demonstrations are part of the activities.

Hood River County Fair
