“Ernest and Celestine,” the Academy Award-nominated film about a civilization of hard-working mice, which played at the recent Portland International Film Festival, has been released on the big screen. And, it’ll be playing in Portland at Regal Fox Tower on March 28. It was nominated for an Oscar in best animated feature and features the voices of Forest Whitaker, Lauren Bacall, Paul Giamatti, William H. Macy, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman and Jeffrey Wright. It’s based on the Belgian book series by Gabrielle Vincent.
