Cirque du Soleil brings 'KURIOS' to life in Rose City
Cirque du Soleil is swinging back into the Rose City for its new show "KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities."
The Canadian acrobatic company announced Wednesday, March 1, that the new show lands at the Portland Expo Center Aug. 24. It will be the center's third time hosting Cirque du Soleil. In 2012, the troupe presented "OVO," and in 2014, it brought "Totem."
"KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities" is Cirque du Soleil's 35th production since 1984. It features more than 100 costumes and 426 props, the most of any production in Cirque du Soleil's history.
