Oregon City Optimist Club will transform Oregon City's Clackamette Park into the 20th annual festival grounds

This weekend, the Oregon City Optimist Club will transform Oregon City's Clackamette Park into the 20th annual Pioneer Family Festival.

SUBMITTED PHOTO - Oregon City's annual Teddy Bear Parade collects new stuffed animals for local police agencies, fire departments, emergency rooms, children's hospitals and women's shelters.All of the profits will go to support the club's funding of youth programs such as the Oregon City High School's Drug and Alcohol Free Grad Party and the Oregon City Public Library's Summer Reading Program.

SUBMITTED PHOTO - A classic carousel is among the many attractions available on the Pioneer Family Festival midway.This year visitors will enjoy some of the annual Pioneer Family Festival favorites including one of Oregon City's signature events, the Teddy Bear Parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, on Main Street, starting at the 10th Street intersection. The huge carnival and midway presented by Davis Shows Northwest will open at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19.
