Men’s basketball: Oregon (12-2, 1-0 Pac-12) plays its conference home opener at 6 p.m. against fourth-ranked Arizona (14-0, 2-0) (ESPN2). ... Oregon State (10-4, 0-1) plays host to Arizona State (13-2, 2-0) at 8:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks). ... Portland State (3-8, 1-3 Big Sky) takes on Sacramento State (6-5, 1-2), 7:30 p.m., Stott Center.

Girls basketball: Nonleague play has Southridge at Central Catholic, 7:15 p.m., and Cleveland at Grant, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 11

Blazers: Portland goes to ORACLE Arena in Oakland to face the upstart Golden State Warriors, 7:30 p.m. (CSN).

Winterhawks: Portland welcomes Spokane to the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.

Men’s basketball: In the Cascade Collegiate Conference, 11th-ranked Warner Pacific (15-4, 6-1) has a 7:30 p.m. home game with Corban (6-9, 2-5), and Concordia (7-9, 2-5) is at home against Northwest Christian (7-12 1-6), both at 7:30 p.m. Warner Pacific is tied for second with Southern Oregon in the CCC, both a half-game behind Eastern Oregon.

Women’s basketball: Corban (3-14, 0-7) visits Warner Pacific (9-7, 5-2), and Northwest Christian (10-8, 3-4) plays at Concordia (6-10, 1-6) , both at 5:30 p.m. In the CCC, Warner Pacific is tied for third.

Boys basketball: Jesuit plays at Central Catholic, 7:15 p.m. In other nonleague games, Westview is at Grant, and Pendleton visits Lincoln, both 7:30 p.m. Also, David Douglas is at Sunset, and Cleveland is at Aloha, both 7:15 p.m. PIL 5A league games, all at 7:30 p.m., are Roosevelt at Benson, Jefferson at Wilson, and Madison at Franklin. In Class 4A, Astoria visits La Salle, 7 p.m.

Girls basketball: St. Mary’s Academy goes to Barlow for a 7:15 p.m. Mt. Hood Conference match-up. Lincoln is at Westview, 7:15 p.m. The PIL 5A season continues with three 7:30 p.m. games — Wilson at Jefferson, Franklin at Madison, and Benson at Roosevelt.

Saturday, Jan. 12

Winterhawks: Everett welcomes the Hawks to Comcast Arena, 7 p.m.

Men’s basketball: OSU takes on Arizona at 5 p.m. at Gill Coliseum. ... PSU is at home against Northern Arizona (5-9, 2-2 through Wednesday), 7:30 p.m. ... Corban is at Concordia, 7:30 p.m.

Women’s basketball: Concordia plays host to Corban, 5:30 p.m. ... In the Northwest Conference, Lewis & Clark (7-6, 1-3 going into the weekend) meets visiting Puget Sound at 8 p.m.

Women’s basketball: Lewis & Clark (12-1, 3-1 NWC heading into the weekend) is ranked ninth in the nation at the NCAA Division III level. The Pioneers are back home at 6 p.m. against Puget Sound, one day after a road game at Willamette. L&C trails Whitman by a game in the NWC after falling on the road to the 24th-ranked Missionaries 88-72 last week.

Boys basketball: A Rose Garden doubleheader has Central Catholic vs. Union at 6 p.m., and Sprague at West Linn, 4 p.m.

Girls basketball: Jesuit travels to Camas for a 2 p.m. game.

Sunday, Jan. 13

Blazers: Continuing a tough week, Portland returns to the Rose Garden for a 6 p.m. game with defending Western Conference champion Oklahoma City, 6 p.m. (CSN).

Men’s basketball: Oregon welcomes Arizona State to Matthew Knight Arena, 6 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks).

Monday, Jan. 14

Women’s basketball: Gonzaga at Portland, 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

Blazers: Portland takes on Denver at 6 p.m. at Pepsi Center. The Nuggets were 20-16 overall and 11-2 at home going into a Jan. 9 game with Orlando. (CSN).

Men’s basketball: Lewis & Clark is at home against Pacific, 8 p.m.

Women’s basketball: OSU at UO, 8 p.m.
