MIAMI — Miami scored 14 straight points late in the fourth quarter to break open a tight game and beat the Trail Blazers 117-104 Tuesday night at American Airlines Arena.

Chris Bosh scored 32 points, LeBron James went for 30 and Dwyane Wade added 24 for the Heat (35-14), who won their sixth straight game overall and eight in a row at home.

Damian Lillard scored 33 points and LaMarcus Aldridge had 29 for Portland (25-27), which lost its fourth consecutive game.

Portland, with Aldridge scoring 11 straight points in one stretch, seized a 57-43 lead in the second quarter, but Miami closed on a 15-2 run to get within 59-58 at the half.

The Heat outscored the Blazers 23-9 to start the third quarter to go in front 81-67. Portland ended the quarter on a 15-5 run to draw to within 86-82 entering the final period. By that point, Lillard had 27 points and Aldridge 25. For Miami, Bosh had 26 points and James 25.

The Blazers went ahead 95-90 with 8:30 left in the fourth quarter, and were still on top 102-101 after Wesley Matthews’ 3-pointer with 4:25 to go. But Miami went on a 14-0 tear to grab a 115-102 advantage with 1:55 left.
