Hops lose lead, game
EVERETT AQUASOX 6, HILLSBORO HOPS 5
Sunday at Everett Memorial Stadium
Everett tied the score with a run in the bottom of the eighth inning, then won in its last at-bat.
Phillips Castillo's two-out home run made the score 5-5 in the eighth.
In the ninth, Michael Faulkner hit a one-out single, stole second, went to third on a passed ball and, after a walk and an intentional walk, scored on Justin Seager's game-winning ground single to the right side of the infield.

The Sox clinched the five-game series. They lead 3-1 going into Monday's finale.
Designated hitter Jordan Parr had two of Hillsboro's seven hits, including a double, one of the team's three extra-base hits.
Ryan Gebhardt, starting shortstop, tripled and scored in the first inning.
Right fielder Zachary Esquerra had a solo homer in the fourth, his second HR of the Class A Northwest League season.
Starter Jose Martinez did well until running into trouble in the fifth. Three relievers saw action in the final four innings, with Yoimer Camacho (0-1) taking the loss.
Hillsboro led 1-0 after one inning, 2-0 after three frames and 6-0 through the fourth, but Everett scored four times in the fifth to even the count.
