Blazers

The Chicago Bulls (6-4) play at Moda Center, 7 p.m. (CSNNW).

The Blazers (10-2 and 1 1/2 games ahead of 8-3 Oklahoma City in the Northwest Division) have won the last four meetings.

Portland power forward LaMarcus Aldridge could be on his way to a third NBA All-Star Game berth with the Western Conference team. He is averaging 22.5 points and 9.0 rebounds. His best seasons have been 21.8 points per game in 2010-11 and 9.1 rebounds last year.

The Bulls figure to be tired after losing 97-87 Thursday night at Denver.

Chicago star guard Derrick Rose is back after missing last season recovering from surgery on a torn left ACL, and he had 19 points at Denver, but he hasn't been his old self yet. He is shooting 35.9 percent from the field and averaging 15.4 points per game.

Small forward Mike Dunleavy Jr., the former Jesuit High star, is in his 12th NBA season. The 6-9 Dunleavy is scoring 8.5 points per game in 13.2 minutes for Chicago.

The Bulls and Blazers are contrasts from long range. Chicago is third-to-last in the NBA in 3-point attempts (15.2 per game) and is shooting 34.2 percent (18th) from beyond the arc. Portland has attempted 23.9 3-pointers per game (third highest in the league) and has hit 41.5 percent, which is fourth.
