by: COURTESY OF PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY - Portland State punter Kyle Loomis is a first-team All-American.Portland State junior Kyle Loomis has been named Football Championship Subdivision punter of the year by the FCS Athletic Directors Association.

Loomis, 6-2, 210 pounds, from Roseburg, set a PSU record by averaging 46.5 yards per punt in 2013. The mark also led the nation.

 Grant Landy, who guided Concordia University to the NAIA women's soccer championship, has been named one of 24 NSCAA/Field Turf coaches of the year.

The NSCAA recognizes national and regional coaches of the year at each level of collegiate, high school and youth play. Awards will be presented Jan. 17 at the annual NSCAA awards banquet in Philadelphia.
