The Oregon State Beavers have moved into a tie for sixth place in Pac-12 men's basketball.

The Beavers won 66-55 Wednesday night at Washington State. They are 3-3 in the conference, tied with Utah and Washington.

The top five: Arizona 5-0, Cal 5-1, Colorado 4-2, UCLA 3-2 and Stanford 3-2.

Others: Arizona State 2-3, Oregon 1-4, USC 1-5 and WSU 1-6.

Guard Roberto Nelson was the key for Oregon State at Pullman, Wash. He scored a game-high 26 points. He was 11 of 15 from the field, including 3 of 5 on 3-pointers.

Angus Brandt added 14 points, going 6 of 9 from the field.

Devin Collier had nine of his 10 points in the second half for OSU.

All three players had four rebounds.

OSU is 11-7 overall. The Cougars fell to 8-11.

The Beavers started well, leading most of the way and by 33-27 at the break after shooting 63.2 percent in the first half.

WSU got to within 35-32 3:40 into the second half, but the Beavers stretched their lead to 47-36 midway through the period.
