NCAA track and field: The Division I championships swing into their second of four days at Hayward Field in Eugene, 11 a.m. (ESPN3).

Timbers: The Washington Crossfire and Portland’s Premier Development League team meet at Redmond (Wash.) High, 7 p.m.

Friday, June 13

NCAA track and field: The D-I championship meet continues at the University of Oregon, 12:30 p.m. (ESPNU).

Class A baseball: The Hillsboro Hops open their second Northwest League season on the road against the Everett Aqua Sox, 7 p.m. ... Meanwhile, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are at home against the Vancouver Canadians, 6:30 p.m., in their season opener.

Rose Cup: The annual Rose Cup races, the oldest amateur road-racing event west of the Mississippi River, celebrates its 54th year with a collection of races over three days in different classes, for modern and vintage cars, at Portland International Raceway. Gates open at 7:30 a.m., and cars hit the track at 8:30 a.m.

All-star basketball: The 42nd annual all-star series — Metro vs. State — takes place today at Sprague High and continues Saturday at Northwest Christian University. Sponsored by the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association, the series has tonight’s Metro-State game at 8:30 p.m. Also, the 4A/3A/2A players will go at it in a 5 p.m. East-South matchup and a 6:30 p.m. North-West game.

Saturday, June 14

NCAA track and field: The Division I men’s and women’s four-day meet concludes at Hayward Field, 12:30 p.m. (ESPNU).

Portland Track Festival: The two-day meet takes place at Lewis & Clark College. The first of seven events tonight is the open 3,000 meters at 7 p.m.

Thunder: The first-year Portland Arena Football League team travels to the Honda Center at Anaheim, Calif., for a game against fellow expansion club Los Angeles KISS, 7 p.m.

Rose Cup: The 54th annual event at Portland International Raceway continues its three-day run. Gates open at 7:30 a.m., and the first session is at 8:30 a.m.

Roller derby: The Rose City Rollers’ home team season wraps up with the doubleheader season championships at Memorial Coliseum. The first match, for third place, pits Guns N Rollers against High Rollers. Then comes the title bout with the Heartless Heathers skating against the Break Neck Betties. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first match is at 5:45 p.m.

Class A baseball: Hillsboro is at Everett, 7 p.m. ... Salem-Keizer plays host to Vancouver, 6:30 p.m.

All-Star baseball: The annual Reser’s Oregon All-Star Baseball Series is today and Sunday at Goss Stadium in Corvallis. The series pits top high school seniors from around the state, with the Class 6A/5A Portland-area team (North) taking on competitors from elsewhere in Oregon (South). Today’s action includes two games, with the first pitch at 1 p.m.

All-star basketball: The 42nd annual OACA series concludes at Northwest Christian. The 6A/5A Metro-State game tips off at 7:15 p.m. The 4A/3A/2A matchups are at 4 and 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 15

Thorns: The Washington Spirit battle Portland’s National Women’s Soccer League team at Providence Park, 2 p.m.

Rose Cup: The 54th annual road-race weekend concludes at Portland International Raceway. The feature event, the Monte Shelton Rose Cup Race, starts at 3:10 p.m., and goes for 45 minutes. Gates open at 7:30 a.m., and the first session is at 8:30 a.m.

Portland Track Festival: The two-day meet at Lewis & Clark resumes at 5 p.m., with high school girls and boys steeplechase events. Action continues through the closing event, the men’s 5,000 heats at 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Class A baseball: Hillsboro plays its third game of five at Everett to open the Northwest League season, 4 p.m. ... Salem-Keizer takes on visiting Vancouver at Volcanoes Stadium, 5 p.m.

All-Star Baseball: The annual three-game Reser’s Oregon All-Star Series concludes with a 10 a.m. game between the North (Class 6A/5A Portland-area players) and South (players from elsewhere in the state).

5-kilometer series: The second of six $5 5K races, offered by Portland Parks & Recreation, takes place at Lents Park, with a 9 a.m. start. A 1K kids fun run for ages 8 and under begins at 8:45 a.m.

Timbers U-23s: Portland’s development team faces the Seattle Sounders U-23s at Tumwater (Wash.) High, 2 p.m.

Monday, June 16

Oregon Amateur: The 105th Oregon Amateur golf championships begin today and go through June 21 at the Oregon Golf Association course in Woodburn. Qualifying rounds are today and Tuesday, with the first round of match play on Wednesday.

Class A baseball: Hillsboro is at Everett, 7 p.m., in the fourth of their five-game set. ... At Salem-Keizer, the Volcanoes meet Vancouver in the fourth of their five-game series, 6:30 p.m.
