Warner Pacific 102, Multnomah 79, at Bart Valentine Court

The two Portland rivals in the Cascade Collegiate Conference met, and the Knights shot .609 from the floor, assisted on 30 of 42 field goals and ran away from the Lions.

Collin Malcolm scored 21 points, hitting 9 of 10 shots from the field, to lead six players in double figures for Warner Pacific (14-7, 9-3 CCC). De'Jon Bowman had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Franky Johnson also scored 16 points.

The Knights shot .674 in the first half to establish a double-digit lead.

Thomas Simien led Multnomah (4-16, 1-11) with 23 points and 10 rebounds. The CCC's leading scorer, Blake Updike, scored 15 points, seven points below his average.

Warner Pacific 69, Multnomah 46, at Bart Valentine Court

In the first game of the WPC-Multnomah doubleheader, the Knight women dominated the boards (45-22), made eight 3-pointers and 19 of 20 free throws to beat the Lions.

Kendra Preuninger had 13 points to lead the Knights (13-5, 8-4 CCC), who shot only .350 from the field, but did many other things well, including controlling the third quarter (22-7).

Miranda Schmillen had 12 points for the Lions (4-16, 2-0).
