Forward Ilijah Colina, an eighth-round 2015 Western Hockey League bantam draft pick, has signed with the Portland Winterhawks.
Colina has 10 goals and 42 assists in 34 games this season with the Valley West Hawks of the British Columbia Major Midget League. He ranks fourth in the league in scoring.
He is in his 15-year-old season and will be eligible to join the Winterhawks full-time next season.
