• At Bellingham, Washington, Concordia stunned the defending NCAA Division II national champions to capture the Great Northwest Conference regular-season championship.

Gabrielle Ewing scored in the 32nd minute from a free kick delivered by Ana Delgadillo amd Quinn Williams scored in the 82nd minute with an assist from Sydney Steenberge.

The Cavaliers (14-2-1, 11-0-1 GNAC) are unbeaten in 13 consecutive games with 11 wins in a row. The Vikings (15-1-0, 11-1-0) had a 39-game winning streak snapped.

Concordia goalkeeper Anna Miller made nine saves in her eighth shutout of the season. Western Washington outshot Concordia 23-3 (9-3 on goal).

Concordia will host the GNAC playoffs at Tuominen Field. Western Washington faces Seattle Pacific at 4 p.m. Thursday and Concordia faces Northwest Nazarene at 7 p.m. Thursday. The championship match is at 1 p.m. on Saturday for the title.

• At Bellingham, Washington, Western Washington beat Concordia 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.
