Born in Waukegan, Ill., he was a member of the Trail Blazers from 1976-78, winning an NBA title with Portland. The 6-7 forward from Penn began his pro career in 1972 with the Phoenix Suns and ended it in 1980 with the Indiana Pacers.

Gbenga Arokoyo (age 25)

The Portland Timbers defender was born on this day in Kabba, Nigeria. He missed the 2017 season with a torn Achilles tendon and has not played this season.
