Concordia women reach GNAC soccer final

• At Tuominen Yard, host Concordia advanced to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship match with a 3-0 win over Northwest Nazarene.
Kyra Radcliffe, Maddie Misi and Quinn Williams scored for the Cavaliers. Radcliffe opened the scoring in the 17th minute from 22 yards out. Misi doubled the lead in the 70th minute and Williams scored on a 19-yard free kick.
It was the 12th win in a row for Concordia (15-2-1) and its 11th shutout of the season.
Saturday's 1 p.m. GNAC championship match will feature No. 17-ranked Concordia against No. 12 Western Washington, which beat Seattle Pacific 2-0 in Thursday's other semifinal match. The Cavaliers handed the Vikings their first loss of the season last weekend.
• At Corvallis, Emma Jones scored from a free kick in the 83rd minute to give the Beavers the win over the Ducks in the final match of the season for both teams. It was the third goal of the season for the senior, each of them from free kicks and each game-winners.
Oregon State finished the season 6-10-3 (3-7-1 Pac-12). Oregon finished 8-11-0 (2-9-0 Pac-12).
The Ducks outshot the Beavers 14-11 (6-4 on goal). In her first college start, OSU redshirt junior goalkeeper Lizzy Coryell made six saves for the shutout.

• At Concordia University, Portland State (19-6) improved to 10-3 in the Big Sky Conference with a four-set win over Montana (7-19, 2-11). Scores were 23-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-19.
Caitlin Bettenay led the way for PSU with 17 kills, two aces and 14 digs. Mikaelyn Buch had seven blocks, Erin Clark 54 assists and three blocks and Tasha Bojanic had 22 digs.
• At Malibu, California, Pepperdine (14-12, 6-7 WCC) swept Portland 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.
Hannah Troutman had 16 kills and 10 digs for her 13th double-double of the season for the Pilots (14-10, 5-7). Reghan Pukis added 15 kills and Cali Thompson had 34 assists and 10 digs.

ITA Fall Nationals
At Palm Desert, Calif.
Oregon junior Thomas Laurent reached the around of 16 at the ITA Fall Nationals with a 6-2, 6-0 win over 22nd-ranked Harrison Scott from Texas. Laurent faces Virginia's Aswin Lizen Friday morning.
Portland senior Michail Pervolarakis won his first consolation match at the fall nationals, defeating Nebraska's Toby Bouyer 61-, 4-6, 7-6 (6). He will face Arizona State's Michael Geerts on Friday.
