THURSDAY COLLEGE SPORTS ROUNDUP/Oregon-UC Davis baseball series will start Friday night; Oregon softball slate rescheduled at Jane Sanders Stadium


• A scheduled Thursday night Oregon versus UC Davis game at PK Park was postponed because of rain.

The Ducks (8-3) will make up the game as part of a 2 p.m. Saturday doubleheader.

Oregon and the Aggies (3-8) will open their series at 6 p.m. Friday, with the Ducks seeking their third win in a row.


• An Oregon-Toledo game scheduled for Thursday at Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene was cancelled due to rain and won't be made up.

The Oregon Invitational will start at 10 a.m. Friday, with Bryant meeting Montana. Other Friday games: Weber State-Toledo, 12:30 p.m.; Toledo-Montana, 3 p.m.; and Oregon-Weber State, 5:30 p.m.

Sixth-ranked Oregon (18-4) is coming off a 4-1 weekend at a tournament hosted by Florida State, but the Ducks dropped their final game there, 2-1, to then-No. 13 FSU.

Oregon also will take on Montana at 7 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, the Ducks will face Montana at noon and Bryant at 2:30 p.m.
