A Tualatin man died Sunday afternoon after running into the side of a vehicle in an apartment parking lot.

Police said the incident happened at about 6 p.m. at the Stones Throw Apartments on Southwest Nyberg Lane. Witnesses said the man was attempting to stop his wife from leaving the complex in the vehicle and struck the side, falling to the ground.

The man’s name has not been released. He died at the scene.

Tualatin detectives are investigating the incident with the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and the Clackamas County Crash Analysis and Forensic Technicians.

No charges have been filed in the case.
