No one injured in Thursday morning incident

A helicopter from Hillsboro Aviation made an emergency landing at Robert Gray Middle School in Portland on Thursday morning.

No one was injured in the incident.

The helicopter from the flight school based at the Hillsboro Airport landed on the baseball field of the school, located at 5505 S.W.23rd Ave.

Portland police officers arrived at the school at 10:07 a.m. and learned the helicopter landed after the pilot and co-pilot noticed an engine warning light.

A flatbed truck was called to pick-up the helicopter. The Federal Aviation Administration conducting an investigation.
