Peace officers fund aids victims of town center shooting

The Clackamas County Peace Officers’ Benevolent Foundation has established the CTC Victim Fund for the families impacted by Tuesday afternoon’s shooting that killed two people at Clackamas Town Center.

Money raised will assist the families of the West Linn’s Steve Forsyth and Portland’s Cindy Yuille who were killed in the rampage by a 22-year-old Lents man. The money also will go to help the family of 15-year-old Kristina Shevchenko, who was seriously wounded in the attack. She is listed in fair condition at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital.

Forsyth died from a gunshot to the head. Yuille died from a gunshot to her back.

The CTC Victim Fund has been set up at Clackamas Federal Credit Union, which donated $1,200.
