A fatal traffic accident Wednesday morning has closed a section of North Columbia Boulevard near Argyle Way.

Portland police said one person was killed in the accident that happened at about 6:31 a.m. Two other are being taken to local hospitals for treatment of traumatic injuries. A fourth person was being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Names of the victims have not been released. Police have not provided any other details about the accident.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is investigating the crash.
