Tires slashed on Richmond neighborhood vehicles
More than a dozen vehicles parked in the Richmond neighborhood had their tires slashed overnight in what Portland police say could be a vandalism spree by two people.
Police officers from the Central Precinct were investigating the tire slashings at about 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Southeast Franklin Street. They found 14 vehicles with damaged tires, but no suspects.
One area resident told police that sometime during the night two people were seen walking quickly east on Franklin Street, but no other information was available on the incident.
Officers encouraged people whose tires had been damaged to file a report online at www.portlandpolice.com.
