Two arrested for downtown robbery
Two men have been arrested for robbing a pedestrian late Friday night downtown with a box cutter.
Paul Ray Hargrow, 26, and Jeremiah Antaiwan Johnson, 29, were both charged with robbery in the first degree. Hargrow was also charged with a parole violation. A 26-year-old female in the company of the two men was released without charges.
The victim was not hurt and the stolen property was discovered.
According to police, Central Precinct officers responded to a report of the at 11:18 p.m. on Jan. 9 in the area of Southwest 16th Avenue and Clay Street. The suspects were arrested in the area of Southwest 16th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
