Experts on child hunger in Multnomah County and Oregon will present the latest data to county commissioners on Tuesday, Feb. 12.

The public is invited to a one-hour panel presentation from 11 a.m. to noon in the Multnomah Building board room, at 501 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd.

Panelists include Cylvia Hayes, partner of Gov. John Kitzhaber; Susannah Morgan, executive director for the Oregon Food Bank; Patti Whitney-Wise, executive director of Oregon Hunger Task

Force/Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon; and Portland City Commissioner Dan Saltzman.

Panelists will discuss ideas to address child hunger locally.

Members of the public are asked to bring a can of food for the Oregon Food Bank.
