Police find missing 62-year-old man


by: PORTLAND POLICE BUREAU - Gene Calvin RushPortland police said 62-year-old Gene Calvin Rush was found Tuesday afternoon and returned safely to his home.

Rush went missing four days ago when he failed to return to his home in the 1300 block of Southwest Washington Street. He was last seen at 9 a.m. on Aug. 2. Rush has several medical conditions that, if left untreated, could endanger his life. He also uses a four-point walker and does not have the use of his right arm.

In the past, Rush has frequented inner-Northeast Portland along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, from Fremont to Failing; and, the 47th Avenue and Prescott Street area.
