Vandals go on New Years Eve tire-slashing rampage
Twelve vehicles in the Woodland Park neighborhood of Northeast Portland had their tires slashed during a New Year's Eve rampage by vandals.
According to police, East Precinct officers responded to the reports of multiple vehicles with tires slashed in the area at 10:56 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1. The crimes occurred sometime between 9:45 p.m. Saturday night and when the first report came in at around 10 a.m. Sunday.
No suspects were identified, but officers will check area businesses for possible security video of the slashing.
