UPDATE • Victim's domestic partner held on murder charge
Portland homicide detectives have arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with the stabbing death of a 49-year-old man who was attacked Friday evening in Southeast Portland.
Police said Steven Ray Abbett was being held in the Multnomah County Detention Center on a murder charge.
Police said Abbett was a domestic partner of Scott Allen Brehm, who died in the stabbing.
Brehm was found at about 5:04 p.m., Jan. 13, near Southeast 101st Avenue and Foster Road. He had been stabbed and died a short time later at a local hospital.
No other information has been released about the incident.
