Woman pulled from river minutes after Ross Island Bridge leap
Portland firefighters and AMR paramedics helped revive a woman who jumped Saturday afternoon from the Ross Island Bridge.
Portland Fire and Rescue said the woman was in 'grave condition' when the fire bureau's water rescue crew pulled her from the water six minutes after she jumped at about 12:39 p.m. She was taken to Oregon Health and Science University Hospital for treatment.
The woman's name has not been released. No other information was provided about the incident.
