Body pulled from river

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office River Patrol recovered a body in the Willamette River just south of the Fremont Bridge on Saturday.

The body of Russel Bryan Oneal, 47, was spotted by a fisherman around 3:00 p.m. It was been brought to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's office, where the cause of death was determined to be asphixia due to drowning and crushing chest injuries. Foul play is not suspected.
