Portland police are investigating an early morning shooting Monday that wounded a man in Northeast Portland.
Police were called at about 12:54 a.m. to Northeast 73rd Avenue and Glisan Street, where shots had been fired. Emergency dispatchers told officers that a man who had been shot was on his way to an area hospital in a car.
The victim's name and medical condition have not been released.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a black man, 30 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-5 weighing 200 pounds with braided hair wrapped up in the back. He was wearing green, black and gray stripped jacket and dark jeans.
The suspect is believed to be in a white sedan with a black scuff in the front bumper.
