Man stabbed to death in SE apartment
Update: Police identify victim, arrest suspect
One man died in a stabbing Tuesday night at a Southeast Portland apartment complex.
Police have identified the victim as Darryl Curry, 48.
Detectives have arrested and booked Neta Mangum, 51, for Manslaughter in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Mangum is being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center in downtown Portland on 255,000.00 bail.
The Medical Examiner has determined stabbing as the manner and cause of death. No additional details are available at this time as this is an ongoing homicide investigation.
Officers from the East Precinct were called at about 9:30 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 12500 block of Southeast Division Street, where they found the victim.
