Shots fired during SE Portland bar robbery
A robber fired gunshots inside a Southeast Portland bar Thursday night.
No one was hurt in the incident and police are searching for the suspect, who got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
According to police, at 9:28 p.m. on Oct. 3, East Precinct officers responded to Mr. Dealers Double-Up Cafe at 12306 Southeast Powell Boulevard on the report of a robbery with shots fired.
When the officers arrived, they contacted a bar employee who told them that the suspect entered the bar and demanded money. The suspect then pulled a handgun and fired multiple shots inside the bar but did not hit anyone. The suspect then ran out of the bar with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Several officers, including a Police K-9, searched the area but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
The suspect is described as an unknown race male wearing all dark clothing and armed with a handgun.
