Three arrested in shooting incident

Update: Police release names of suspects

Police arrested four people after a Monday afternoon shooting incident in Southeast Portland.

No one was injured in the incident.

Those arrested are Mikey Hammick, 18; Bilal Shamshudin, 46; and Dechavien Parks, 21. They are in custody at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

According to police, at 1:53 p.m. on Feb. 20, East Precinct officers responded to a call of shots fired Southeast Powell and 150th. Police dispatch received numerous calls of shots fired in the area, and one caller indicated that a window had been shot out.

Prior to arrival of the officers, witnesses told dispatch that three African-American males all ran eastbound on Powell toward an apartment complex on Southeast 151st following the shots.

After arriving on the scene, the officers learned the suspects may be armed with handguns and a rifle. Police blocked off the area and traffic was disrupted for several hours.
