Brother arrested in Christmas Eve shooting death


The brother of a Christmas Eve shooting victim was arrested Friday in connection with the man’s death.

Portland homicide detectives arrested 62-year-old Mickey Omega Rolin for murder with a firearm and booked him into the Multnomah County Jail. His brother, 61-year-old Terry Lee Rolin died after being shot on Dec. 24 after a dispute at a Southeast Portland home.

East Precinct officers were called at about 5:34 p.m. Dec. 24, to a house in the 3600 block of Southeast 67th Avenue after a reported domestic disturbance and shooting. Officers found Rolin suffering from critical injuries at the house.

Homicide detectives and criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division are investigating the incident.
