(Portland Radio Project) — The Belmont Goats-the herd which crops the weeds on the enormous vacant lot on Southeast Belmont between 10th and 11th avenues-have gotten a temporary reprieve. The goats were supposed to vacate on the 18th, but property owner Killian Pacific has extended the deadline after a new home fell through.

The Oregonian reports this is the second extension the developer has given the herd. The goatherds are asking for help finding an urban lot in close-in Southeast so the goats can stay together and continue delighting visitors.
