Police investigating reports of a flasher in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood

North Precinct police officers are investigating reports of a flasher running -- sans pants -- in the area of Northeast Alameda Street and Alameda Terrace on Monday morning.

Multiple units responded to the area shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, and began a neighborhood canvas for the suspect, believed to be connected with several recent reports of flashing in the neighborhood. One caller reported that the suspect was chasing her on Northeast 31st Avenue near Alberta Street.

Officers conducted an extensive neighborhood search but did not locate the suspect.

This morning's suspect is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s, 5'8" to 5'9", chubby build, dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt, white socks, white shoes, and holding a cloth or other material over his face (possibly his boxer shorts).

The suspect may have been associated with a gray to gold to brown larger American sedan.

North Precinct officers are continuing to investigate all of these reported incidents.

Anyone seeing this suspect or encountering him is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information should call (503) 823-3333.
