Graham crossed the double solid centerline in her 1992 Dodge Dakota pickup while heading eastbound on Highway 212 near Peterson Road and collided with Cheryl Elaine Hill’s 2000 Mazda headed westbound March 23 at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Although both drivers were using seat belts, Hill was critically injured and was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, where she died after arrival. Graham was transported by AMR ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, where she is in critical condition.

OSP troopers are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash and have found no evidence that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors. Officials with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Boring Fire District and ODOT assisted at the scene to reopen the highway by 3 a.m.

OSP and ODOT reminded travelers to be careful as many people are hitting state highways day and night during the spring-break period through March 30. During last year’s spring break, six people died in separate traffic crashes on Oregon roads.
