Portland police officer held on sexual corruption charge
Outside agency investigating 22-year veteran of the police bureau

A 22-year veteran of the Portland Police Bureau was taken into custody Thursday and charged with felonies connected to the online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor.
Officer Scott Elliott was arrested by Multnomah County sheriff's deputies and placed on administrative leave. Elliott worked in the police bureau's East Precinct. He was leading training on less-lethal weapons.
Bureau officials said an outside agency is investigating the case.
