Police have arrested a suspect in last Saturday's shooting outside a Southeast Portland nightclub.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Michael Stockton, 31, was arrested on May 14 at his place of employment without incident and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on two counts of Attempted Aggravated Murder, one count of Attempted Murder, three counts of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, and one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
According to police, at approximately 12:34 a.m. on May 10, East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunshots being fired in the parking lot of the Fortune Star Lounge, located at 15920 Southeast Division Street.
When the officers arrived, they contacted several people who had been standing outside the lounge at the time of the shooting. Investigators learned from witnesses that the suspect fired multiple rounds from his vehicle and then sped out of the area.
The suspect vehicle was located and towed by officers from the Gresham Police Department the next day. Follow-up investigation by detectives led to the identification Stockton as the suspect in the shooting.
