Portland elects new auditor, reelects two commissioners
Mary Hull Caballero won a four-year term as Portland city auditor on Tuesday. Caballero, who was unopposed, will succeed LaVonne Griffin-Valade, who declined to seek a second term. Caballero has been an auditor at Metro.
After the first batch of votes was released shortly after 8 p.m., it was clear that Portland City Commissioners Nick Fish and Dan Saltzman easily won re-election to four-year terms.
Saltzman had a big lead over Joe Meyer, Leah Marie Dumas and Nicholas Caleb.
Fish was handily beating Sharon Maxwell and Michael Durrow.
