Woman charged with murder in domestic violence case


Police have arrested a women for murder in a domestic violence case.

Patricia Rene Phillips, 45, is accused of killing David William Johnson, 59.

According to police, at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, North Precinct officers responded to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center on the report of a walk-in stabbing victim. When they arrived, the officers learned from medical staff that the victim had life-threatening stab wounds. He subsequently died of his injuries.

Phillips is charged with murder and unlawful use of a weapon. She was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
