Three suspected serial burglars all brothers were caught in the act Friday, according to Portland police.
The suspects are: Aaron Harris, 19; Arthur Nolan Harris, 25; and Justin Royce Harris, 36. They are all charged with multiple burglary charges.
According to police, in the early morning hours of June 6, detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Burglary Detail were conducting surveillance as part of an ongoing commercial burglary investigation.
During the surveillance, detectives observed the three suspects burglarize a business in Northwest Portland. After the burglary, officers conducted a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle and all three suspects were arrested.
As part of the investigation, detectives developed information that led to search warrants at two residences located at 20 Northwest 16th Avenue and 846 North Webster Street where a significant amount of suspected stolen property was seized.
This investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible in this case.
