Six people were injured late Sunday night in a four-vehicle collision in the 8900 block of North Columbia Boulevard.
The victims, who were taken to local hospitals for treatment, included four adults and one child. A sixth person not involved in the collision also was taken for treatment.
The victims names and medical conditions were not released.
Portland Fire and Rescue said the accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, July 6. The four vehicles were heavily damaged, and one person had to be cut from the wreckage.
Firefighters and medical crews provided triage and treatment for the injured. Two engines, two trucks and five ambulances were involved in the treatment of patients.
Firefighters said several bystanders complicated the rescue effort.
