Police respond to domestic violence report
A Monday evening domestic violence incident is being investigated by detectives with the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers on scene said the incident was reported around 8:30 p.m. on July 14 in the 3000 block of Northeast Bryant Street.
A neighbor told KOIN 6 News that he had heard at least one gunshot; however, officers could not immediately confirm if a gun had actually been discharged.
Detectives with the bureaus Family Services Division are expected to arrive at the home sometime early Tuesday to speak with the involved individuals.
When officers were initially dispatched to the home, they said there was a report that someone had been hit by a vehicle, however, police on scene said they were still sorting everything out and could not immediately confirm if anyone was actually struck by the car.
A black vehicle, with damage to the side, and debris on the ground around it, was part of the crime scene being watched by officers.
More information will be posted when it is released from the police bureau.
