Photo Credit: UNDATED COURTESY PHOTO - Jennifer Huston, 38, has been missing since July 24, 2014 from the Dundee area. The San Juan County undersheriff in Washington has confirmed that witnesses claimed to have seen a woman on Friday that matched the description of Jennifer Huston.

The 38-year-old Dundee mother of two has not been seen since July 24 after she gassed up her Lexus at a Circle K in Newberg.

Witnesses told the San Juan County sheriff’s office they saw a woman matching Huston’s description on the ferry from Anacortes Friday morning, the undersheriff said. The witnesses also described the green 1999 Lexus with a cracked window, but they did not make contact with her nor get a license plate number.

It is not confirmed the woman was Huston.

The Washington State Ferry office will review the surveillance tapes internally and let the San Juan County sheriff know if the vehicle matches the description.

No additional information will be available from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office about this matter until after they hear from the officials with the ferry’s office.

Local search ends

The formal air and ground search Huston has officially ended.

On Saturday, 20 of Huston’s family and friends passed out flyers and continued the ground search efforts.

Kallen Huston, Jennifer’s husband, addressed the media Friday afternoon.

“We really need to find her car,” he said then, adding there is a “soccer ball-sized U-shaped crack” in the window as an identifying mark on the 1999 Lexus SUV.

“Jennifer,” he said, making remarks directly to her, “if you could see this or hear this, I love you. You have a ton of support from the community. If you can come home, please do. The boys need you. I need you. I love you.

“We’ll never stop looking for you.”
